How to get started with yoga

Yoga is taught as classes at studios and gyms. Most studios work with single classes, a multi-class card or a membership, and several offer classes in English.

  1. Pick a beginner classHatha and yin are gentle to start with. Vinyasa flows faster and is more demanding.
  2. Try a classMany studios have a trial class or an introduction card.
  3. Choose a regular classA multi-class card keeps you flexible; a membership makes you go more often.
