How to get started with rowing

You learn to row at a rowing club. You start in a stable boat with an instructor and later row in a crew. Students usually row at one of the student rowing clubs.

1. Book an introductionYou learn the rowing stroke first on a machine or in a training boat.
2. Take a beginners' courseAfter the course you may go out on the water on your own.
3. Become a memberThen you row in a fixed crew or on your own.
